'Blue Bloods': Joe Hill Hits Danny Reagan in Season 11 Finale Teaser

Another season of Blue Bloods is coming to an end. A teaser shows things will get complicated between Joe Hill (Will Hochman) and Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) in the season 11 finale.

Joe Hill took a break from the Reagans on ‘Blue Bloods’

Season 11 started with Joe Hill and Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) saving Danny Reagan together. The premiere episode ended with Joe turning down Jamie’s invite to family dinner.

But Joe did show up to the table eventually. It looked like he was finally finding his place in the family. However, that changed when the public found out he was the son of Joe Reagan. His fellow detectives accused him of lying about this, so they got into a fight. Joe decided to distance himself from the family, and fans haven’t seen him for many episodes.

Fans were left wondering what happened to him. The final episodes “The End” and “Justifies the Means” will answer that question.

Joe Hill hits Danny Reagan in season 11 finale teaser

A teaser was released for the finale. There are clips from the episode, and the cast talks about what fans can expect from it.

“I’m working a homicide when I recognize one of the perps. Joe Hill,” Danny tells Frank (Tom Selleck) in a clip. Hochman then talked about Joe’s dilemma in the episode. “The challenge, Joe finds himself undercover trying to bring down a ring of illegal guns.”

Another scene is shown of Danny stopping Joe and another man. He starts to pat down Joe but whispers to him, “Hit me!” Joe does it and runs away with the other man, evading arrest.

The family will come together to help Joe come back home safely. “The stakes are high on so many different levels,” said Vanessa Ray, who plays Eddie Reagan. “On a family member level, on a cop level. You’ll be holding your breath the entire time.”

The teaser showed clips from previous family dinners, which included Joe. There is a good chance the finale episode will include a dinner, but we still don’t know who will be at the table this time. Some fans are probably hoping Joe will finally make it back.

Will Joe Hill be back for ‘Blue Bloods’ Season 12?

CBS announced Blue Bloods will be back for another season. The news didn’t include any changes to the cast.

That gives hope Joe will be back for more episodes. But it also might mean he will be doing a limited number of episodes again if Hochman hasn’t become a series regular. Fans will have to watch the finale to get more of a clue to Joe’s future.

The finale episodes of Blue Bloods air on Friday, May 14 on CBS starting at 9 p.m. EST.
