Celebs Go Dating fans outraged as episode goes ‘off-air’ in Channel 4 mishap

Daily Star’s Inside Hot TV newsletter sees Ed Gleave send you telly’s hot takes straight to your inbox every Sunday

Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion viewers couldn’t wait to tune in to another episode of the hit E4 dating series on Monday evening, only for the All 4 hub to suffer a glitch.

Fans watching the series online were disappointed to click the "watch live" option and see a message from E4 appear, claiming the episode was off-air.

A message from the network popped up, which read: "This channel is currently off-air."

While the episode didn’t air on the online hub, it broadcast successfully on television.

Taking to Twitter, viewers pleaded with Channel 4 to fix the issue, hoping they’d catch the last few minutes of the episode.

One said: "@4Viewers Is it just me that can’t watch #CelebsGoDating tonight in All4? I always watch on the app and can’t tonight. I’ve tried on a fire stick and AppleTV too."

"Same here-not on Apple laptop or Samsung tv-nada nuffin," replied a second.

And a third chimed: "Absolutely fuming I can’t watch celebs go dating @E4Tweets sort it out.”

"Sorry but when is the @All4 app going to be fixed because I just want to watch #CelebsGoDating and I don’t have normal tv," wrote a fourth.

Things heated up on Monday evening's episode of Celebs Go Dating, as the stars were faced with a breakfast "dilemma" first thing in the morning.

Each celeb was forced to choose which person they wanted to continue dating, evicting the remaining singletons from the sprawling Surrey mansion.

New arrival Joey Essex was conflicted, but eventually plumped for Sophie, having felt a spark after meeting each other two days previously.

Meanwhile, Curtis Pritchard decided against picking any of the single ladies, having failed to make a connection with each of the agency's matches.

Celebs Sophie Hermann and Tom Zanetti enjoyed a date of their own, later meeting with experts Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson to discuss their blossoming romance.

Opening up, Tom told the experts: "It was nice to get to know the Duchess on a one to one level."

While Sophie admitted that "it's very early days" for their relationship, she conceded her feelings for the DJ were moving in the right direction.
