Charlotte Crosby slams Megan Barton Hanson as she reveals secret 'feud' and how it started after NTAs clash

CHARLOTTE Crosby revealed she was blanked by Megan Barton-Hanson after fans asked her to name the rudest celebrity she’s ever met.

The 30-year-old Geordie Shore star said she was left "feeling strange" after an encounter with the former Love Island contestant at the National Television Awards.

Reality star Charlotte opened up about how she felt "a little strange" after she was ignored by Megan, 26, as they walked the red carpet.

Taking to Instagram to answer a series of Q&A questions, Charlotte was asked by fans to name her "rudest celeb" before telling the story.

She detailed how the pair had previously come up with a plan to make Megan look "smiley" while watching her ex Wes Nelson on Dancing On Ice.

"I sat next to Megan Barton Hanson at Dancing On Ice once and she was really nervous as Wes was on the ice," Charlotte began.

"She was so chatty and lovely. She was worried they may make it look like she was watching in disgust as Wes danced with his female partner."

Detailing the model "wasn't bothered at all" by the female partner but was concerned over "how things would look", Charlotte revealed she helped out.

"We both made a little plan to chat together and be smiling whenever the cameras were on us," the MTV personality added.

"I left thinking what a lovely girl, completely not how I expected her to be after watching her [on Love Island]."

Fast forward a few months when both the women appeared on the red carpet of the NTAs, however – and Charlotte felt it was a different story.

She slammed Megan for appearing to "look right through her" after she ran over to try and grab Megan for a catch up and a drink.

"A few months later or so at the NTAs I saw her in the distance and I ran over to say [hello]," Charlotte continued.

"Genuinely excited to maybe have a drink together at the bar, and she looked straight through me as if she didn't even know who I was.

"I wouldn't class her as rude to be honest but it left me feeling a little strange."

Defending her fellow reality star a little, Charlotte added that the evening was quite "frantic" and could have "actually not recognised" her.

It comes just days after Charlotte revealed her fury at seeing her fellow reality stars holidaying in Dubai during the pandemic.

Charlotte said that because her work means she follows people currently in Dubai – and seeing them live a normal life has got her upset.

Writing on Instagram, she said: "I'm f***ing sick of seeing all my Australian friends and people in Dubai doing normal things.

"The northeast have been in lockdown for near enough 3 months. How the f***ing earth is England in this situation. We've opened and closed and opened and closed.

"I remember when they were doing eat out to help out everywhere f***ing PACKED. Crowded and queues everywhere."

This isn't the first time Charlotte has lashed out about the restrictions as she liked her dad's tweet calling stars in Dubai "utter t****" in January.

Meanwhile for Megan, Charlotte isn't the only enemy she seems to have made after meeting them on Dancing On Ice.

The star opened up last month admitting she regrets her fallout with one of the show's professional skaters, Vanessa Bauer.

The pair got embroilled in a "cringey" feud over Megan's ex Wes Nelson who Vanessa was accused of growing close to on the show.

Megan up to how she didn't think it through when she went public with their spat – and now regrets what happened.

Furious Megan ranted at the time: "Love that you decide to announce your break-up with your boyfriend on the night of your first performance with my boyfriend.

"You've never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night, you didn't even look me in the eye, LOL."

Megan reflected on the moment: "Sometimes I react instantly and don't think about the consequences so there's a few things that make me cringe.

"But everything I've done I've learnt from so it's whatever."
