Corrie’s Alahan family torn apart as Aadi and Kelly drop huge wedding bombshell

Coronation Street’s Alahan family look set to be torn apart next week, as spoilers have confirmed Dev and Aadi butt heads over his intention to marry Kelly Neelan.

Next week, a spanner is thrown in the works in Kelly and Aadi’s plan to tie the knot, as they learn that because they aren’t 18 yet, the Gazette competition requires written consent from their parents or guardians.

With the ‘secret’ engagement now plastered on the front page of the local newspaper, Dev, Maria and Gary are left fuming, and most of all adamant that the pair are much too young to get married.

Dev and Aadi butt heads over Kelly’s background and prison stint, with Dev grabbing Aadi – causing him to fall and hit his head.

Things aren’t looking good for the father and son, as Aadi storms out, telling his father he’s going for good.

Later that week, Asha begs her brother not to cut their father out of his life as it’s clear Dev loves him. Aadi later calls in at the shop and hands his mum Sunita’s engagement ring back to Dev – leaving him relieved to think he and Kelly have called things off.

With actress Millie Gibson calling it quits on the soap, could this be the storyline leading up to Kelly’s eventual exit – and could Aadi follow in her footsteps if they do elope?

Theirs aren’t the only wedding bells on the cobbles next week, however, as Jenny and Leo’s relationship looks set to come crashing down. Leo has taken up a labouring job with Ed, but is left sour about being stuck in Weatherfield instead of heading to Canada.

Jenny informs him that she doesn’t want to stand in the way of his dreams and tells him to go.

Later, Jenny assures Rita that while it was fun while it lasted, she’ll get over Leo – but her foster mum isn’t convinced.

When Sarah lets slip to Stephen that Jenny is the sole owner of the pub, he turns up the charm to flirt with her – and the tipsy landlady invites him through to the back and treats him to a passionate snog.

But things turn upside down when Leo returns after a stern talking to from Jenny’s loved ones – and he’s holding an engagement ring of his own.

As Gemma heads through to the back room with Leo in tow, will they find Jenny and Stephen locking lips?
