This week's EastEnders spoilers reveal that Suki is charged with murder, Sam has a blast from the past as he makes a dramatic gesture outside of Peggy's while Alfie comes to Linda's rescue.

When Suki (Balvinder Sopal ) and Kheerat (Jaz Deol) arrive home to find Nish (Navin Chowdhry) preparing a meal, Suki decides to stand by Nish.

However, their family’s happiness is short-lived when the police arrive and arrest her for murdering Ranveer. The Panesars fret as Suki is questioned and Kheerat points the finger at Ravi (Aaron Thiara) who is nowhere to be found.

While Stacey (Lacey Turner) is annoyed when Kheerat continues to ignore her but upon learning what’s happened, she offers him her support.

With the police searching Suki’s house, Nina heads to the surgery where Ash breaks down, worried she’s about to lose her mum. Kheerat sees red and he goes to drastic lengths to save Suki. But will it be enough?

Elsewhere, Callum (Tony Clay) encourages Ben (Max Bowden) to tell Lexi (Isabella Brown) the truth about Lola’s prognosis but Ben is more concerned with doing research and finding her treatment options.

At the hospital, everyone rallies round Lola and Callum suggests Ben moves back in with him to help support Lexi. Lola (Danielle Harold) is touched by the support.

Also in Albert Square, Linda (Kellie Bright) lets slip to Shirley (Linda Henry) about Janine (Charlie Brooks) and Mick’s engagement, leaving her furious.

Linda picks up that all is not well with Mick (Danny Dyer) and checks in on him, giving him food for thought on his future with Janine. Later on, Mick proposes properly to Janine much to her delight.

Later, Sharon (Letitia Dean) arranges a blind date for Linda and when they fail to show, Alfie (Shane Richie) steps in and buys her a drink, annoying Mick in the process.

However, when Alfie later arrives for his shift, he's told by Mick he’s no longer needed. He later apologises to Alfie for having to let him go but is annoyed when Alfie questions if Janine is really the woman he loves. Will Mick listen to Alfie?

Also next week, Sam’s (Kim Medcalf) money issues continue apace. Zack (James Farrar) is shocked when she demands the money she gave him for the car back by the end of the week.

Meanwhile, Kat (Jessie Wallace) finds a random man, Don, in her kitchen and immediately confronts him only to discover he’s Sam’s ex. At Peggy’s, he reveals why he’s here to a shocked Sam.

She tries to cover and digs herself a deep hole by telling Don she still loves him. When Jack (Scott Maslen) refuses to help her, Sam has an idea and enlists Zack’s help. However she is left feeling hopeless when Zack refuses to aid her.

She later finds Don putting on an extravagant display outside the club and when she questions what he’s doing, is left speechless when he proposes. Getting him back inside Peggy’s, she drops a bombshell.

Elsewhere, Whitney (Shona McGarty) feels disgruntled about her own love life. Harvey (Ross Boatman) reveals Sophia has stopped talking to him. Jean (Gillian Wright) spots how much Kat is struggling to handle everything and suggests she asks Alfie for help.
