EASTENDERS fans have been left saddened at the sudden screen disappearance of beloved character, Eve Unwin.
The strong-minded Walford resident has built up an army of fans who have been displeased at the lack of screen time for the character over the past week.
Eve has been a central figure to many plots throughout the year after she was able to squeeze her way into many of her neighbours lives and drama's.
Played by Heather Pearce, the character is most known for her steamy affair and romps with Suki Panesar, one of the show's leading ladies.
Although with the relationship now on the back-burner, Eve has had to slot herself into other people's business in order to get a bit of excitement going for herself in Walford.
It seems as though she hasn't had much luck over the past two weeks as she has seldom cropped up on the BBC soap opera – a move which has left fans crying out.

Taking to X – formerly Twitter – many were left asking just where she had disappeared to.
One Eve fan said: "WHERE IS EVE???!!!"
Another added: "Where is Eve. I miss her sm."
Before a third made reference to her last main episode which saw her find herself implicated in yet another unconnected drama to her – Stacey's stalking hell at the hands of Theo.

They asked: "Where are Stacey Theo and eve?"
Eve managed to find herself in Stacey's home just as Freddie thought he had killed his former teacher.
Always aiming to be level-headed, she often puts on a front that she knows the best thing to do in a situation although she regularly appears to just say something and hope for the best.
Eve has a desire to do right by the world even if that often comes with many mistakes.
A force to be reckoned with, she tries to stand up for what she believes in but when things go awry, she disappears in a bid to avoid picking up the pieces.
