It’s that time of week again when Metro.co.uk brings you brand new soap spoilers and we’re happy to confirm that next week is most certainly one to watch.
With joy and sadness on the cards for various characters across the four big serial dramas, expect to experience a mixture of different emotions along the way.
EastEnders continues its current trend of being must-see TV, with Kathy Beale and Rocky’s wedding on the cards and, with an uninvited guest set to wreak havoc, it’s going to be one to remember.
Coronation Street, meanwhile, is set to see Stephen Reid face some serious questions from Elaine Jones and Tim Metcalfe, who start to piece together what he’s been up to, and we think we can speak for everyone when saying it’s been a long time coming!
There is sadness and heartbreak on the cards in Emmerdale as Arthur Thomas has his heart broken, with first love Marshall Hamston breaking up with him before departing the village.
Lastly, but by no means least, Hollyoaks delivers the drama with newcomer Dilly Harcourt on a mission to expose Sienna Blake, but which of the schemers will come out of this challenge victorious?
Has that little taster whetted your appetite enough? We hope not, as there is plenty more where that came from as we’ve got our hands on all the biggest spoilers for next week (July 17 to 21) so grab yourself a cuppa and get up to date with all new soapy shenanigans.
The day of Rocky and Kathy’s wedding arrives and there is drama aplenty, with the groom forced to tell his bride-to-be about the events of the stag night. But this proves to be the least of Rocky’s worries when Jo arrives at the venue, just as Kathy shows up! Rocky’s heart is in his mouth over Jo’s presence as the wedding kicks off and, afterwards, his ex takes her vicious revenge, with the happy couple facing the consequences.
Sharon implores Keanu to come clean to Phil but he refuses, worried he’ll never see Peggy again if all is revealed, but Sharon ignores his fears as she visits Phil and blurts out the truth, leaving the hard-man irate. Sharon, however, manages to calm him down as Lisa arrives back in the Square, with her lies subsequently unravelling.
Stacey struggles to recall leaving a drunken message asking Martin to be her plus one to the wedding – even though Theo is supposed to be going with her. Martin suggests that she ditch Theo, who goes out of his way to antagonise the stall holder, kissing Stace’s hand. Stacey, however, remains conflicted, but ultimately makes a decision about her future – and Martin’s role in it.
Stephen comes up with an alternative plot when a potential buyer for the factory explains that his wife’s life insurance policy won’t pay out after she took her own life. Elaine, meanwhile, calls off the engagement, worried Stephen doesn’t love her. Stephen, however, begs for one more shot, suggesting a romantic break in the Peak District.
Elaine starts to pile together Stephen’s lies, confiding in Tim, who prises open the killer’s metal box which contains his files, horrified to find forged life insurance documents inside. Tim waits for Stephen, before telling him that the game is up – with a struggle ensuing between the two men.
Spider has one chance to save Toyah after receiving a text telling him to follow instructions or she will be killed. Leanne, meanwhile, is banned from involving the police by Spider, who heads to a waste ground and spots that the kidnapper has a gun! A shot rings out, but who has been hit?
Aadi is taken aback when Dev asks him to be his right hand man for new business plans with local entrepreneur Darren. Amy, meanwhile, invites Aadi to a gala which leaves him delighted, but he soon has to let her down so that he can pick up Darren’s wife Courtney, who he gets along really well with as they go for a kebab. Courtney agrees to help Aadi impress her husband, but one thing soon leads to another as she leans in for a kiss!
Courtney is portrayed by Stephanie Davis, who is no stranger to the world of soap, having played Hollyoaks’ Sinead O’Connor across two stints in the Channel 4 serial drama.
Arthur is left broken-hearted when Marshall ends things with him. Marshall is appreciative of everything that Laurel has done for him as he says a heartfelt goodbye to her, preparing to leave with his auntie. Arthur, meanwhile, receives agoodbye hug from his fist love, as he breaks down in Laurel’s arms.
Mary receives a text from an unknown number asking to meet and, upon arriving at the location, she spots a disheveled Faye, who explains that she’s living in her car. Faye blindsides Mary with claims of love for her, but Mary’s not falling for it. The conversation takes a turn, however, as Faye demands that she withdraw her witness statement or she’ll send a non-consensual nude photo to all of her contacts.
Caleb’s interest is piqued when her overhears Tracy mention being unable to find an investor for her nursery, with subsequent scenes seeing him make her an offer. Nate, however, is frustrated, knowing that going into business will rile up Cain, but things are taken out of his hands when Moira reveals that Nate must compete with Mack, with only one of them securing a job at the end!
Cindy’s mental health takes a turn and reality start to slip further away from her, with subsequent scenes seeing her hospitalised. Tom, feeling guilty for not seeing her struggles sooner, vows to be there for his big sister.
John Paul attends a gay night at The Loft with Scott, swooping in to impress investor Kenneth with conversations about the youth club. Goldie, however, spots a group of homophobic men, with things getting heated. John Paul is subsequently attacked by the same men.
With Dilly proving to be a thorn in Sienna’s side, Ethan takes it upon himself to distract her so that Sienna can carry on with her plot to win Rafe’s action. Dilly, however, kisses Ethan – just as Sienna walks in.
