Emmerdale divorce sealed for Kim Tate after ultimate betrayal

Emmerdale: Caleb Milligan confronts Kim with Cain

Emmerdale stalwart Kim Tate (played by Claire King) and Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) could end up filing for divorce after she betrays him on the ITV soap, a star has hinted.

When asked if Will finds out about Kim’s involvement in rapist Craig Reed’s (Ben Addis) death, Olivia dropped a clue they could be heading for divorce.

Kim is Dawn’s birthing partner and Olivia revealed Will finally finds out Kim’s horse killed Craig and she left him dying in a field near Home Farm as she cantered off.

Olivia teased to Express.co.uk and other media: “So it happens very close to Dawn going into labour so this is kind of brewing and Will knows something’s wrong.

“And Dawn and Billy have kind of picked up on something not being quite right.

“And then, I think we’ll find out that Kim is involved on the same day as the labour.”

She said Kim’s husband Will is “just so disappointed” to learn the businesswoman had been keeping such a dark secret from him for months.

“That causes a lot of tension in that marriage,” the actress added. Does this mean the couple may end up divorcing in 2024?

Emmerdale soap spoilers have revealed Kim tells her side of the story, but Willโ€™s left feeling utterly betrayed.

The following day, Will is stunned when he finds drunken Kim slumped against Dawnโ€™s birthing pool.

When she rushes out of the room to throw up, he worries about what state Kim has gotten herself into.

Dawn’s contractions start during the village’s Christmas fair, and she needs help delivering the baby.

Despite the friction going on between Kim and Will, the pair join forces to help Dawn when she goes into labour.

Olivia shared: “Interestingly, even though all this is going on, they all come together for this moment and they’re all there at the crucial time and kind of everything is later rest.”

Luckily, Dawn gives birth to a healthy baby boy called Evan – named after Billy Fletcher’s (Jay Kontzle) father and she is also OK.

Now the birth is successfully out of the way, what will happen to Kim and Will? Will is Kim’s fourth husband, but will the couple be able to work through their differences?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
