It was a week that the residents of Emmerdale will remember for quite some time, as Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) wreaked havoc on the village.
The crazed killer made a shocking return, hellbent on causing chaos and taking lives on the day of Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and Daw Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) wedding.
She reigned down terror, shooting Leyla Cavanagh (Roxy Shahidi) and attacking Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton), as well as kidnapping Lucas, and threatening to kill the bride and groom.
Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), however, pushed her from a bridge in a bid to avenge daughter Leanna (Mimi Slinger), who was one of Meena’s victims.
Meena was subsequently arrested and questioned, and it looks as though she might finally face justice for what she’s done.
Desperate to find out what happens next, right?
We thought you might be, and thus we’ve got three brand new preview clips of next week’s goings-on in the village to tide you over until Monday (February 21).
Monday February 21
Dawn stops by the hospital to apologise to Leyla. Leyla, however, won’t hear of such a thing, telling the new bride that she’s been through enough, and none of this is her fault.
The two villagers bond, agreeing to spend some time together and look at Dawn’s wedding pictures.
But Leyla can’t help but think about Liam, telling Dawn that he hasn’t replied to any of her text messages.
Is he okay?
Tuesday February 22
Meena plays games with DS Rogers, telling her how much she loves the police interview room, before reminding him that he’s going to have to release her, as he’s got no evidence tying her to the murders.
Little does she know, however, that he’s found her trinket box, which was buried in the allotment!
Showing her photos of Leanna’s ring, Andrea’s bracelet and Ben’s bracelet, the detective demands an explanation.
Meena, however, falls silent, and answers with only: ‘No comment!”
Is her game finally up?
Thursday February 24
Chas Dingle is concerned when she struggles to find Liv Flaherty and Vinny. Laurel Thomas clearly knows more than she’s letting on about the lovers’ whereabouts, but she decides to withhold such information.
Chas, meanwhile, jumps to the wrong conclusions.
