Good Morning Britain fans were left frustrated on Thursday morning after the hit ITV breakfast show was hit with technical issues.
The show kicked off at 6am as normal with Strictly Come Dancing star Ranvir Singh waking up the nation until main hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid joined at 6.30am.
However, as Ranvir read through the headlines as usual it soon became clear there was an sound issue.
As she started to present the news many viewers took to social media to complain she sounded 'distorted'.
For some, the problem was so persistent that they turned off the show entirely.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Good Morning Britain, can you not give an on air acknowledgement that you are dealing with this incredibly annoying sound issue?"
Another added: "GMB and ITV… 30 minutes in and the sound issue still persists, what the hell are you playing at?
"Is this a new condition in Piers contract that when he is not on the sound of the other presenters has to be distorted".

A third vented: "Switched over – sound is terrible #GMB."
It's not clear how what caused the live TV fail but within the first hour of the show the sound quality was fixed.
Minutes after Ben and Susanna took to their seats, the brunette beauty couldn't resist admiring her co-hosts new hair.
While it looked almost identical to viewers back at home, close up in the studio Susanna noticed it was 'tidied up' at the back.
After admitting Susanna admitted she had hair envy, Ben replied: "Ah yes, mum cuts open for business, little fresh trim.
"Annie, when I said to her you might need to cut everyone's hair, an entirely male hair cut session, she felt sick, she didn't want to do it.
"But I think even she got to a point where she thought she had to do it, she went at me, she did come as a butcher which worried me slightly."
GMB continues tomorrow at 6am on ITV.
