The events of New Year's Eve haunt the residents of Hollyoaks village as they try and pick up the pieces of the tragic night.

Darren Osborne (Ashley Talyor Dawson), Nancy Hayton (Jessica Fox), and Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) all struggle to come to terms with what happened, while Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) tries to offer support at the Lomaxes.

Fans who've already watched the Hollyoaks box-set on All4 will know that Jordan Price (Connor Callad) was stabbed to death during the dramatic New Year's Eve episode.

The villain was stabbed amid a showdown with Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) and Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) at The Hutch, as the schoolchildren believed they were in danger.

Tragically, Jordan had just taken steps to redeem himself by refusing orders from evil Victor Brothers ( Benjamin O'Mahony) to kill Sid Sumner (Billy Price) and Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw).

Convinced that Jordan still posed a threat, Charlie and Ella panicked when they came face-to-face with him in the empty restaurant.

In the chaos that followed, Jordan was stabbed and was already dead by the time the emergency services arrived.

Charlie later confessed to the police that he'd committed the fatal attack, but a flashback clip showed that, unbeknown to everyone else, he was merely covering for Ella, the real culprit.

The consequences of Jordan's death is set to be explored over the next few episodes, looking at whether the local teens can now escape from Victor's web.

Will the truth ever come out over Ella's guilt?

Mercedes is excited for Bobby to come home but is sickened by a sinister gift left on the doorstep.

She's certain that Silas is their tormentor, so she decides to install CCTV cameras at the pub.

Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) tells her shady boyfriend Seth Costello (Miles Higson) more secrets about her family and she reveals something that Mercedes told her, unaware that it's a trick.

Will she be found out?

Evil Silas has one more game left to play with the McQueens leaving Mercedes panicked when Sylver McQueen (David Tag) returns from the airport without Bobby.

Mercedes tries to call Bobby's phone and when Silas answers, he tells her to meet him in The Folly and they finally come face to face.

Silas gives Mercedes an ultimatum with deadly consequences, but what one will she pick?

Also, Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon) is looking forward to his date with Cleo McQueen, but Celeste (Andrea Ali) and Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) worry that his unpredictability could put her in danger.

Elsewhere, Joel Dexter is distant as Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) starts planning their wedding day but he confides in ex Cleo that he doesn't know what he wants anymore.

Does the village vicar still have feelings for his ex?

Later, Toby and Cleo are at Salon De Thé on their date, but Toby gets angry when it doesn't go to plan.

Is Cleo in danger or will Joel step up and protect her in time?
