Hugo Hammond 'kicked out of a kebab shop' after 4am brawl 'over a bag of chips'

LOVE Island's Hugo Hammond was booted out of a kebab shop at 4am after becoming embroiled in a row over chips, according to reports.

The former PE teacher, 25, was caught on camera clashing with another customer in a Clapham takeaway over the weekend.

In the video clip, Hugo can be seen trying to calm the situation after a brunette woman he appears to be with sends a box of chips up into the air.

He tells a seated man: '"Bro, relax brother. Relax."

His efforts are booed and mocked by other customers, who seem amused by the altercation.

The seated man then rose to his feet and sonfronted Hugo as others stood between them.

A source told the Mail:  "A random man threw a chip at her as a joke. She over-reacted and got in his face shouting, throwing some food at him. He then reacted violently and punched her food out of her hand."

Security staff from nearby Infernos nightclub were then said to have escorted the party outside before Hugo returned to buy more food.

Just months ago Hugo was branded a "club rat" by former co-star AJ Bunker after he snogged strangers on a cast night out.

She said: "OK, you didn't want any of us girls but you'll go for some girl you met ten seconds ago in a club."

He had been out with two of the girls he was coupled up with – 28-year-old AJ and 25-year-old Amy Day, who he brought back from Casa Amor, plus Georgia Townend.

AJ told OK!: "We went on a night out with some of the cast the other week, and Hugo was on his phone the whole time. He didn't give us the time of day.

"He was kissing everyone. He was being a club rat in front of me, Georgia and Amy.

"It's like, OK, you didn't want any of us girls but you'll go for some girl you met ten seconds ago in a club."

Hugo didn't fancy anyone on Love Island – bar possibly Chloe Burrows who ended up with Toby Aromolaran.

Amy didn't hold back when asked about her brief relationship with Hugo, calling him "just awful with women".

Speaking on Love Island spin-off Aftersun, she said: "Hugo says that he wants to stay true to himself.

"Can you not be true to everyone else at the same time?"
