I'm A Celeb's Ant & Dec poke fun at Boris Johnson isolating with hilarious impersonation and welcome him as a new viewer

SELF-ISOLATING Prime Minister Boris Johnson was teased on I'm A Celebrity tonight as Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly welcomed him as a new viewer.

Dec, 44, performed a hilarious impersonation of the PM as they poked fun at him tuning in from home after coming into close contact with a Tory MP who caught coronavirus.

BBC journalist Victoria Derbyshire had just impressed camp with a funny joke – and it led straight into Ant's jibe at Boris.

"I can't wait to see Victoria Derbyshire's next hard-hitting political interview," said Ant.

Pretending to be Victoria, he added: "'Prime Minister, the public has a right to know. What's green, wobbly and flies through the sky?'"

Impersonating Boris Johnson, Dec said: "Ah, is it a jellycopter?"

He then said to the camera: "Evening, Prime Minister…

"He's definitely watching because he's isolating. Definitely watching."

Boris has been self isolating this week after meeting with Tory MP Lee Anderson who later tested positive for coronavirus.

He does not have any symptoms of the virus and will continue to work from Downing Street.

The 56-year-old ended up in intensive care when he battled the virus back in March.
