JLS star ‘revealed’ as Masked Singer’s Rubbish with two ‘clues’ spotted by eagle-eyed fans | The Sun

EAGLE-EYED fans are convinced that they have worked out the boyband star behind Rubbish on The Masked Singer.

Viewers of the ITV quizzing game have been attempting to figure out the clues all week and put a name to the mask ahead of the next episode.

Now fans have been left totally convinced that JLS star Marvin Humes is the man behind the mask.

One clue which has got everybody talking is the colour of the rubbish bin on the show.

Many clued up fans have made the link between the strong green colour of the bin to the JLS star wearing and being associated with the colour green during his time in the chart-topping boyband.

Each of the members of the group were designated their own colour with Marvin being green.

One fan picked up on this clue, saying: "When I was a little girl I remember I had a doll of Marvin and the box was green, and after looking it up the members of JLS all had their own colours on merchandise/artwork/albums etc and it seems like Marvin was always green. And the colour of Rubbish’s bin, it’s green!"

The superfan of the show also picked up the background bins and their colours which also correlated to the other JLS members' respective colours.

They added: "And the other bins are JLS colours too, but we know it’s not lead singer Aston, cos he was Robin! FYI, Aston blue, Marvin green, Oritse red, and JB yellow, just like the bins."

Moreover, one of the bins featured the number one with fans arguing this could hint to JLS' successful run of number one smash hits.

Thinking about it cleverly, the fan said: "Also note there are 4 bins including Rubbish, just like there are 4 members of JLS, and it also said No 1. Could this be a reference to JLS’s chart success? They had about 5 or 6 UK number 1 songs between 2009-2011."

The theories had other fellow clue detectives intrigued with one admitting they had the same thoughts but questioned if Marvin had a stronger vocal ability than Rubbish.

They commented: "That is what I thought at first, but surely Marvin would be a better singer."

Marvin, who is married to The Saturdays star Rochelle, is not the only high-profile name who has been thrown into the mix.

Fans have believed that the character of Rubbish itself is a clue and have pondered if it could be someone whose rise to fame was in the cleaning world.

The rubbish bin is a perfect match for Kim Woodburn's professional cleaning capabilities, fans have predicted.

Another fan theory is that it could possibly be Marie Kondo, from the Netflix series Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.

Going off the recycling connection, it could also be someone who has a connection to nature and the environment.

Fans are also guessing it could be Kirstie Allsopp who likes to upcycle things around the house or one of the stars from The Repair Shop.
