Katie Price has taken to her Instagram to share her pride at son Harvey Price being nominated for an award for their documentary, Katie Price: What Harvey Did Next.
The documentary is nominated alongside four other contenders in the Authored Documentary category at the National Television Awards. The duo will be up against Julia Bradbury: Breast Cancer and Me, Kate Garraway: Caring for Derek, Paddy and Christine McGuinness: Our Family and Autism and Tom Parker: Inside My Head.
In the post on her official social media account Katie, 44, shared an image of herself and Harvey, 20, and captioned it with: "I'm so proud of my @officialmrharveyprice he's been nominated for another NTA award!! Well done Harv mummy loves you so much."
Katie Price: What Harvey Did Next was a follow up to the 2021 BBC One documentary Katie Price: Harvey and Me.
After the release of the first documentary, Katie said: “The overwhelming love and support we received following Harvey and Me earlier this year was incredible.
"To see how so many people connected with our story and how it has helped so many families out there who are going through similar experiences has made me so proud. But Harvey's story doesn't end there."
Katie Price: What Harvey Did Next, followed Harvey and his mum as they prepared for him to live a more independent life. Harvey was born with Prader-Willi syndrome and has autism, partial blindness and ADHD.
The Harvey and Me documentary was met with critical acclaim and amassed 5 million viewers within 30 days of it hitting BBC iPlayer, becoming one of the best-performing documentaries ever released on the platform and now the follow up has been nominated for an NTA, Kate is naturally filled with pride.
The NTA nominees released today also included categories for Returning Drama, Talent Show, Serial Drama and TV Presenter.
It's no surprise that Ant and Dec are are in the running for TV Presenter – the duo have won the award at every NTAs since 2001. And this year the double act have several nominations, including more for Saturday Night Takeaway and I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
The NTAs 2022 will be held at the OVO Arena Wembley on 15 September from 8pm, and results will be announced live on ITV. Book tickets through nationaltvawards.com now.
