It is part of a national campaign to challenge the stigma surrounding suicide and “start a national conversation.” The charity said 125 people commit suicide every week in the UK.

Amber, 24, is an ambassador for Calm and has spoken of how the suicide in 2020 of her close friend and presenter of Love Island, Caroline Flack, left her “heartbroken.”

She has fronted a six-part series about mental health on ITV2.

Also attending was Calm ambassador, Strictly judge Shirley Ballas, 61. Her brother, David, took his own life in 2003, aged 44.
