Love Island’s Danny Williams had been left single following Arabella Chi’s departure from the villa and chose to couple up with Jourdan Riane as part of the Casa Amor twist.

However, eagle-eyed viewers spotted that Danny, 21, called 24 year old Jourdan the wrong name, as he referred to her as ‘'Jourdanna'’.

Speaking in the Beach Hut before the recoupling, Danny gushed over Jourdan and explained why he wanted to partner up with her.

He said: "Receiving that text I am probably a bit glad, and a bit relieved that it was as simple as that.

"I feel like I know who I am going to choose to recouple with, and she wants to recouple with me as well.

"Definitely looking forward to the others meeting Jourdanna, and I feel like she is going to be a great addition to the villa as well."

Viewers immediately took to social media to call out model Danny on his slip-up and question the pair’s connection.

One person said: “Did Danny just call Jourdan 'Jourdanna'? Lmao so much for a connection lad."

Others wrote: "Pshhhh Danny who is Jordanna?" and: “Danny really just called Jourdan 'Jordanna' ."

Later during the recoupling, Danny got Jourdan's name right, as he picked her.

He said: "I think you're all amazing, but one girl did stand out early on.

"I feel like our conversation flows naturally, I feel like she brings out the best in everybody around her.

"I find myself gravitating towards her throughout the day without even realising, and she has this energy that I just haven't seen before. I would like to couple up with Jourdan."
