Love Island star Amber Davies has a big reason to celebrate after landing her debut TV acting role in a BBC series.
Amber, who has already starred on stage in musicals since leaving the famous villa, will be swapping to the small screen now that she’s been cast in the third series of CBBC series Almost Never.
The comedy drama follows boy band The Wonderland as they try to achieve their dream of worldwide fame and fortune and the various ups and downs that come their way.

But Amber’s not the only famous face on the cast list for the latest installment, as she’ll be starring alongside JLS singer and The Masked Singer finalist Aston Merrygold and former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt.
Announcing the big news on her social media accounts, Amber took to Twitter to share her excitement that she’s part of the drama, which began filming this week.
She typed: "Over the moon to be joining the cast of “Almost Never” for their THIRD SEASON.

Amber continued: "Feel incredibly lucky to be doing my first TV Role with such a kind and wonderful cast&co @[email protected]"
The reality star also shared some first look pictures from behind the scenes, including one of her posing in a photo shoot alongside Aston and Kimberley and another two from on set.
Fans quickly sent the star their congratulations, wishing her luck for the role and saying they can’t wait to see her in action when the show airs.

One said: ‘Omg congratulations Amber. I can't wait to watch!!when it out?x’
Another added: ‘OH MY GOD !!!! SO proud of you,’ while others said they were proud of the Welsh star for her latest career venture.
Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Amber is hoping this is just the beginning of her acting journey.
An insider from the BBC told them: “Amber is really keen to get into the world of acting on telly, and this is a great first step for her.”
They continued: “She couldn’t wait to get started after agreeing to take part.”
This comes after Amber has won over West End audiences in Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 and was recently announced as the lead role in Bring it On the musical alongside Louis Smith.
