In an exclusive interview with TheMirror.co.uk, Married at First Sight UK star Amy opened up about the disappointment she felt when it came to the bosses airing her arguments with partner Josh. The pair had their fair share of ups and downs during the experiment, with Amy admitting she wanted to leave the E4 show.
Amy, 34, and Josh, 26, were paired up for marriage by Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas for the UK version of Marriage at First Sight.
During their time on the show, viewers saw the couple argue more than they had laughs and had a very serious chat on their final date.
Amy has now said that she felt bitter when she and Josh’s homestay in Cornwall was cancelled because there wasn’t enough camera crew.
The pair had to stay in a rented home in London where their friends visited them for a Mexican night.
However, the pair didn’t seem to have the best night as Amy was seen snapping at Josh over a loaf of bread.
Amy explained: “They’re not showing any context and then the bread thing… that was the day I lost my rag with the whole process, and I wanted to leave.
“Also, I was told I was going to Cornwall, so I was really excited to see my dog and my friends and family, and then last minute they didn’t have enough camera people.
“So, I was gutted, and it was just a build-up of everything for me personally that day, and it was just like my meltdown day,” she said.
Amy didn’t reveal whether she and Josh were still together, however she did confirm she would like to get married properly one day.
Speaking on whether she had any regrets about her time on the show, Amy admitted she’d have liked to have “kept her cool” more.
However, the MAFS UK star claimed her behaviour was merely reflective of her being “passionate” about the process.
In a comment on Instagram, Amy told her fans that she wished the E4 bosses had bothered to show her “fun side.”

After an explosive dinner party, Amy and Josh made it past the final commitment ceremony, which ended in fireworks.
Their fiery on-screen relationship has sparked an outcry for the pair to get their own spin-off show, with fans saying they deserved more airtime.
Michelle Roach on Twitter wrote: “You and Josh really do need your own show, you can show who you really are together.”
Rosie Mitchell added: “They defo need more airtime on this show!”
“Amy’s great to watch, can’t wait until Monday,” Elizabeth Arden also commented.
Fans are also convinced that they’ve spotted a major clue that the pair are still together, with Amy posting a very loved up picture of the pair.
Lilkakwiatek commented on her photo: “You two are absolutely stunning together and the most normal and genuine couple there, so beautiful.”
Elaine_hammersley also said: “Oh I wish someone would give you two a break!!! You’re my favourite couple!”
“Why can’t people just give you 2 a break!! Jealous comes to mind, you 2 are such a powerful couple and by far my favs xxx” Becki_babes wrote (sic).
Married at First Sight UK continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
