MASKED Dancer viewers are convinced that Zip is Peter Kay after the mystery celebrity said the word "Geraldine" was a clue to their identity.
ITV viewers have been wracking their brains to correctly guess the famous faces behind the mask.
During Thursday night's episode, each celebrity revealed a word that would help the judges correctly identify them, but could not elaborate on it.
After Zip's performance, the masked contestant said that their special word was "Geraldine".
This sent Twitter into overdrive, with several fans speculating that comedian Peter, 47, was the talented dancer.
Recalling his Peter's fictional character Geraldine McQueen from his Britain's Got the Pop Factor… a and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice.
The video itself is a parody of Leona Lewis' video for her cover of Kelly Clarkson's, A Moment Like This and the debut album from Michelle McManus, who won the second series of Pop Idol in 2003.
One viewer wrote: "Zip said Geraldine. It has to be Peter Kay right?"
Another posted: "Zip is Peter Kay, he was Geraldine in drag…"
A third shared: "Zip must be Peter Kay. Too many clues lead to that conclusion. And the northern accent!! and the car show."
However, other fans are convinced that the Geraldine clue is actually a hint that Take That's Howard Donald is behind the mask.
One fan posted: "Zip said Geraldine. Take That presented their own TV show and had Peter Kay when he was one of his alter egos Geraldine on it."
A second penned: "Take That Come To Town had Peter Kay as Geraldine! They played the game with him/her and ended up rolling on the floor."
Another agreed: "It's Howard Donald, Peter Kay was Geraldine in their Take That Come to Town tour."
Other guesses suggested TV personality Rylan Clark-Neal was Zip, claiming he was the only male celeb leggy enough to fit inside the costume.
However, some viewers were not convinced , writing: "Laughing that people have speculated Zip is both Rylan and Peter Kay! You couldn't get two more different body types!"
The judges Oti Mabuse, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan were way off with their guesses after they failed to identity Beagle and Llama.
Beagle was revealed as Dancing on Ice star Christopher Dean and Llama was presenter Zoe Ball.
It means that Zip, Squirrel, Carwash, Knickerbocker Glory, Scarecrow and Frog will battle it out in the next round.
The Masked Dancer will return tomorrow night ahead of Saturday's grand final.
