Inspired by the greatest guessing game in television, The Masked Dancer has what it takes to leave viewers utterly flabbergasted.

And Saturday's finale episode did just that, as four celebrity contestants remained on the series, which was inspired by its sister show The Masked Singer.

Carwash, Scarecrow, Squirrel and Zip made it to the final, their dance moves impressing the judges enough to keep them in the competition.

After a week of anticipation, the first celeb to be unmasked was Tamzin Outhwaite as the Scarecrow.

No one was more shocked than guest judge Holly Willoughby, who is actually related to Tamzin through her husband Dan Baldwin.

Dan is first cousins with Eastenders icon Tamzin, with the pair regularly attending family parties together as part of their close-knit clan.

In the lead-up to the final, eight celebrities were unmasked on the show, each with varying degrees of experience in the world of dance.

First up, Diversity star Jordan Banjo was unmasked as Viper, swiftly followed by former Eternal singer Louise Redknapp in the Flamingo costume.

The Beetroot was burlesque icon Dita Von Teese, and Rubber Chicken was exposed as Olympic ski-jumper Eddie the Eagle.

Professional skater Christopher Dean was hiding in the Beagle costume, radio DJ Zoe Ball was the Llama, and Craig Revel Horwood whipped off the mask of the Knickerbocker Glory costume.

Finally, the Frog was unveiled as none other than model Kelly Brook, who admitted: "I love The Masked Singer, the costumes are fab and I love the guessing game. I can't sing at all but I enjoy dancing."
