Masterchef winner Tom Rhodes has revealed he's still working at Nando's after being crowned the champion in the coveted culinary series.
Tom became Masterchef's latest champion in April after swapping his shifts as a front of house manager at the chicken chain to having his cuisine creation skills judged by Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
After cooking his way to victory and being labelled a "phenomenal talent" by the judges, Tom has seen his profile sky rocket and now snaps mouth-watering images of his latest genius dishes on his Instagram page, which has more than 18,000 followers.
Despite his growing fame and success, Tom has revealed that he is still working his day job and is "living two lives" after his win.
Tom made the revelation as he appeared on This Morning alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on Wednesday 2 June.
As he stood in the This Morning kitchen ready to cook up a delicious summer salad for the hosts, 48 year old Dermot, who recently revealed he didn't like Alison's presenting style, asked: "I read last night in my briefing notes, are you still working?"
"Still working," Tom replied. "I'm living two lives at the moment so manager of chicken shop by day."
Alison, who recently shared her worries over the coronavirus jab, then asked: "But you've never been a chef there?"
"No," Tom said as Alison insisted: "They are missing a trick!"
The Masterchef champion then added: "I know, aren't they just? I think they might get me on now, though to be fair!"
Shortly after his Masterchef win, Tom shared his hopes to become the next Nigella Lawson and release his own cookbook someday.
Speaking after his win, Tom revealed: "Being this year’s MasterChef Champion, after watching and admiring so many past Champions, seems like a dream come true.

"I’m grateful that I met, got to know and cook alongside some of the most wonderful and talented people, and have found friends for life in them. I’ll also never forget and can’t be more thankful to all the friendly, hard working, fantastic people, that make MasterChef such a special show.
"I feel this is just the start, and I’m excited for what comes next," Tom said.
Tom has loved being in the kitchen since he was four, which shone through when one dish was branded "a work of asolute genius" by Greg. And he is keen to follow in the footsteps of his childhood idol Nigella.
He said: "When I was younger, I watched a lot of Nigella Lawson and Nigel Slater. I have met Nigella Lawson and have a signed copy of How to Eat, which has a special place in my growing collection of over 300 cookbooks.
"One day I would love to write a cookbook and have a cookery school. During the competition, I have realised my love for developing recipes and cooking for other people outside of my friends and family, so would love to do more of this after the show."
