And he's blown people away with his new trim figure.

Matt has given fans a few glimpses of his new shape on Instagram and on TV, and many reckon he looks like a new man.

"What a skinny little hottie you are… looking fine," one said after Matt appeared on The One Show.

"Looking very trim and smart," said another.

"You look amazing, how much weight have lost?" asked another.

"I can't believe how much weight u have lost," said someone else, while one remarked: "So slim."

One joked: "I want to know where the real Matt Lucas went??? I'm positively jealous."

"You look so svelte," one fan wrote.

Speaking on Lorraine last year, Matt said that, like so many people, he gained weight during the pandemic when everyone was at home in lockdown.

He said he knew he needed to do something about it and slimmed down a bit as he "needed to take the edge off".

However, he added that he still had a bit of a "tum".
