Mike Tindall has become a firm favourite with I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans after entering the jungle two weeks ago. The royal, who is married to Zara Tindall, has admittedly become the “dad” of the camp and appears to be getting along with his fellow campmates. However, in an exclusive interview with, body language expert Darren Stanton analysed Mike’s body language and whether he is being genuine in the jungle.

“I think he’s almost come over as a sort of strong, sort of comfortable in his own skin type of guy,” Darren explained.

“And obviously being an ex-rugby player and I know we can sort of stereotype about certain qualities.

“But I think I agree, I’ve actually tipped him to be in the final if not win because he’s been very nurturing…he is the daddy of the camp now that Sue’s [Cleaver] left.

“So I think those two almost like the parents of the camp in a way.”

Referencing Mike’s sweet gesture to his fellow co-stars, the expert continued: “I think he is… he goes around hugging everybody doesn’t he like a big teddy bear.”

“I am tipping him [to win],” Darren went on to say before adding the royal is “genuine”.

Another campmate Darren believes could win is Hollyoaks star, Owen Warner.

“In recent days we have seen some very strong figures leaving the camp, like Boy George and Babatunde,” Darren explained.

“I still think camp daddy, in terms of offering security, safety and a big hug, still falls on Mike.

“I think people have seen him in a very different light during the process.

“He has a very strong personality and clearly cares a great deal about how others are feeling.

“Mike is very much an empath, which means he puts the thoughts, feelings and well-being of others above himself.

“I also think the nation has warmed to Owen. He has shown himself to have a childlike curiosity in the best possible way.

“When he is listening to the success stories of the other celebrities, you can see genuine happiness on his face.

“He is definitely another person in the camp who is quite prepared to put other people’s happiness before his own.

“I would flag Owen as one of my top contenders to win the show.”

“From my previous work with deception, I do believe Matt [Hancock] is being genuine in the way he is conducting himself,” the expert added.

“He doesn’t appear to be playing any kind of secret agenda or game. It’s obvious he wants the public to like him.”

Despite Darren’s predictions, according to the bookmakers, Jill Scott is currently the frontrunner to be crowned Queen of the jungle.

The Lioness has odds of 2/5 of winning the show, according to Oline Betting Guide.

Owen follows closely behind with odds of 5/1 of being crowned King of the jungle.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs tonight at 9.15pm on ITV.
