Tuesday's episode of Loose Women became rather heated after the ladies discussed the proposed 'freedom day on June 21st.
As expected the Loose Women panellist couldn't seem to agree on the reopening of venues across the UK and the Indian variant.
Host Ruth Langsford asked the women their opininons on the proposed date and queried whether it was too soon.
But as the ladies went further into the conversation and gave their views panellist Brenda Edwards and Penny Lancaster seemed to get into a heated debate which led Penny to tell Brenda to "calm down".
Viewers were quick to pick up on the uncomfortable conversation and took to Twitter to share their views.
One viewer penned: "Penny’s ‘Calm down darling’ comment to Brenda, followed by a giggle. Uncomfortable viewing. Micro aggression. Brenda was calm."
Another said: "The way Brenda was made to look crazy and aggressive because she was expressing a (controversial) opinion… What’s happening to our freedom of speech?"
