Piers Morgan embarked on a ferocious rant at the start of Tuesday's Good Morning Britain as he called out Boris Johnson for his u-turn on school closures.
During his public address on Monday evening, Boris Johnson announced that most primary and secondary schools will return to remote learning until February.
Piers was raging as he branded it 'utterly insane' that some pupils were sent back to school for one day before the lockdown was announced.
He said: "He sends them all back to school so they can mingle with other students… for them then to go home and infect their elderly relatives?"
"What a brilliant idea by the prime minister", he added sarcastically.
