Strictly Come Dancing viewers have to wait until Sunday night’s pre-recorded results show to find out which celebrity will be booted out of the BBC competition. Strictly fans have to carefully navigate their way through social media if they don’t want to risk seeing spoilers for who leaves. However, some fans who have seen a “spoiler” for the Musicals Week results show have been left “gutted” by the result.
Avoiding spoilers can be difficult for Strictly fans as there’s a website dedicated to ruining the surprise of which celebrity ends up leaving the show.
The website didn’t seem to publish the spoiler as early as usual this weekend, but it didn’t stop fans from seeing certain names thrown in the mix.
Taking to Twitter a distraught Chloe said: “Just seen the Strictly spoiler and now SUNDAY IS RUINED. If you need me I’ll be hiding in bed in a pit of both anger and sadness.”
Rach added: “I’ve just seen the Strictly spoiler and I’m gutted.”
Ellie commented: “I’m fuming at the Strictly spoiler what the actual f**k?”
Sophie Laura remarked: “I’ve seen the Strictly Spoiler and I am LIVID.”
Becca added: “There is a special place in hell for people who leak or post spoilers about the Strictly results. Even if it’s just a rumour, don’t say anything. Just be quiet. It’s not hard. Let people enjoy it.”
Gemma Jane fumed: “If the #StrictlySpoiler is true then I don’t really have any reason to watch the show anymore. [I’ll] just catch up on Rose’s dance afterwards. [I’m] kinda disappointed with this year.”
As it stands there are seven celebrities left in the BBC competition, with Tilly Ramsay landing herself at the top of the leaderboard yesterday.
Tilly and her pro partner Nikita Kuzmin scored 40 from the judges for their dance to Revolting Children from the musical Matilda.
BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker was at the bottom of the leaderboard following his Charleston to Good Morning from Singin’ in the Rain.
Tom Fletcher also received the same score as Dan for his routine to On My Own from Les Miserables.
Tonight’s results show will open with a fantastic routine from the professional dancers to Defying Gravity, from the musical Wicked.
The show will also feature a special performance by Max Harwood and The Feeling who sang Out Of The Darkness (A Place Where We Belong) from the musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
The remaining couples will take to the dancefloor when Strictly Come Dancing returns next Saturday.
Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice already have one hand on the Glitterball Trophy, according to the latest odds from Ladbrokes.
At a staggering 5/1 the couple finds themselves chalked up as the runaway odds-on favourites to win Strictly this year.
AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington’s odds of winning currently stand at 7/1.
On Saturday night they danced a graceful Waltz to Edelweiss from The Sound of Music and earned themselves a near-perfect score.
Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday on BBC One at 6.55pm, with the results show on Sunday at 7.20pm.
