Fans of The Chase couldn't seem to get enough of a player's "smooth voice" after they noticed he also had a pop star connection.

Contestant Prince appeared on the popular ITV quizzing show with hopes of winning big for his team, however Chaser Shaun Wallace was quick to point out that Prince was sitting amongst other "well known" players.

As well as Prince, contestants Elvis, Adele and Tina were also on the show, leaving viewers at home stunned with the evident singing correlation.

But although fans were impressed with the producers' choice of players, others couldn't help but comment on Prince's sultry voice.

Taking to Twitter, fans shared their views, one penned: "Prince has a soothing voice love it."

Another said: "Prince has a great voice."

"Prince , nice looking man with a lovely voice," a third added.

Meanwhile, others couldn't help but mention the star studded players, one fan wrote: "Some big stars on #TheChase tonight…"

Another chimed in and said: "Prince, Tina, Elvis and Adele on #TheChase I love it when the producers get teams together with names like this."

A third quipped: "I’m gonna scream if I see one more tweet about their names being singers."

But although the player's impressed viewers with their names, they left many unimpressed with their quizzing knowledge.

A part from Tina, all three contestants never managed to answer their question correctly when faced with The Chaser in the head to head round.

Prince's performance in the head to head also raised eyebrows as he took the risk to go for the higher offer despite only winning £1,000 in the previous round.

However, Tina stole the show and dazzled fans with her incredible quizzing comprehension.

As the last woman standing on the team, Tina impressed presenter Bradley Walsh when she answered seventeen questions correctly on her own.

Chaser Shaun's work was certainly cut out and he didn't manage to defeat Tina, leaving her with £7,000 winnings.

Jumping back on Twitter once again, fans congratulated the player.

"Just saw the final chase. Well played Tina. You were excellent and really lovely too," one fan wrote.

While another said: "Well done Tina."

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
