The Holiday star unrecognisable 17 years after classic film as she recreates scenes with her daughter and husband | The Sun

THE Holiday star Miffy Englefield has recreated a series of scenes from the film – now she's a mum herself.

The 24-year-old appeared in the classic movie when she was just six years old and played Jude Law’s daughter, Sophie.

These days Miffy looks very different and is mum to a little girl called Frankie, who was born in Apirl 2020.

She delighted her fans as she took part in countryside home swap, just like the in film.

With the help of HomeExchange.com Miffy made a converted Tudor barn in the tranquil East Sussex countryside home for a few days and – just like Cameron Diaz’s character – she enjoyed some reminiscent activities including picking berries in their beautiful garden and visiting a farm shop in the local town.

The 2006 film saw Brit Kate Winslet swap her home, with American Diaz’s for Christmas.

Miffy shared two videos from her trip and her fans couldn’t believe it was her from the film – or how similar the stay was.

One person wrote: “Omg I didn't realise it was you in the holiday I love that film always wanted to do a home exchange.”

A second said: “It's almost like a perfect reflection of the film!”

And a third added: “You were one of the adorable little girls I am guessing.”

Speaking previously about being part of the film, Miffy said: “It was amazing being in it.

“Everytime it is on telly – and it is a lot – I crack up. It’s on Netflix now too.”

Describing the cast, she said: “Everyone was so sweet, kind and down-to-earth.

“I didn’t know who Cameron and Jude were because I was six. But I did know who Jack was because my dad was really into alternative music and I liked [his band] Tenacious D. The first time I met him I bounded up to him and said, ‘I love your music’. He was like ‘that is ridiculous, you are six years old.’”
