Ciara recently took to social media to respond to criticism that she is making “TikTok music.”

A Twitter user Kenia Kole, who is an assistant coach at William & Mary Tribe Women’s Basketball in Virginia, had accused Ciara of “making TikTok music ATP,” sharing a video showing the singer practicing with the dancers to her song “BRB.”

“And.. ..you’re watching…:) taking time to comment. Gotta love it,” Ciara replied with a laughing emoji. She then wrote in another tweet, “Not the assistant coach of a women’s basketball team taking time to hate.. that makes no sense.”

“Imagine being in a role to help lift women up, you pass on that and tear down. Would hate to have you as my coach, wouldn’t respect you at all, they probably don’t anyway. So what ya got to lose?” wrote a fan.

Another supported commented, “THANK YOU FOR LETTING #CiCi OUT ON THESE H*ES! SHUT ‘EM UP, FAVE!!!!!!!! #CiCi outside [for real], lmaoooooo YES!!!!!!”
