All eyes have been on This Morning frontwoman Holly Willoughby this week after a catastrophic result at this year's National Television Awards, which saw the lunchtime show miss out on a single accolade and receive boos from the audience.

But it seems as though 42 year old Holly is already attempting to brush over the once much-loved ITV show's awkward loss by embarking on a brand new side project.

The mum-of-three took to Instagram yesterday to share a sun-soaked selfie, whilst wearing a #ShowYourLove t-shirt in aid of the Young Lives vs Cancer charity.

"Finally it's here!" she captioned the snap. "It's an honour to have been asked to design a t-shirt to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer. What do you think? I really do love it!

"I'm proud to join Young Lives vs Cancer on its mission to make sure all children and young people with cancer have the support they need to thrive. Join me and grab your limited edition today. The link to buy my t-shirt is in my bio."

She added: "I'm looking forward to seeing you wearing yours. PS. make sure you check out @younglivesvscancer to see the amazing work they do and give them a follow."

And many big name stars took the opportunity to congratulate Holly on her brand new business venture, with the presenter having remained in hot water since her co-host Phillip Schofield sensationally stepped down from the show earlier this year.

Her This Morning co-host Alison Hammond – who she attended the National Television Awards with earlier this week – was amongst the first to support her.

This Morning's resident chefs Clodagh McKenna and Michela Chiappa also showed their admiration to the star, with Clodagh commenting, "LOVE LOVE", on the sweet photo, and Michela writing, "Fab! [heart-eye emojis]".

Holly's latest career move comes just hours after news emerged that the TV host had reportedly laid down the law with her co-stars, telling them there's "no room for another scandal” on the show.

It is believed that she keen to draw a line under the show’s scandal from earlier this year, when former co-host Phillip Schofield quit after admitting to an inappropriate relationship with a junior colleague.

Phillip stepped down from working at ITV altogether in May after admitting to having an affair with a much younger male colleague – a revelation which left ITV in crisis mode as they raced to manage the situation.

Since Phil’s exit, which came after he had spent two decades on the show, no official replacement has been announced by the network, with Holly instead having been joined by a selection of co-presenters including popular favourites Alison Hammond and Craig Doyle.

An insider said this week of Holly's plans for the future: "She decided to return to This Morning because she loves working on it, and she wants to turn it around."

"She is full of ideas for how they can make the show much more engaging and relevant," they claimed. It might come as a shock to some at ITV, but she isn’t going to let anyone stop her running things the way she wants.

"She doesn’t want to dwell on the past, either – she wants to draw a line under it and make it clear to everyone that there is no room for a new scandal."
