{"id":67096,"date":"2023-09-12T20:49:17","date_gmt":"2023-09-12T20:49:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rapidcelnews.com\/?p=67096"},"modified":"2023-09-12T20:49:17","modified_gmt":"2023-09-12T20:49:17","slug":"tearful-ariana-grande-emotional-over-past-having-lip-fillers-and-botox","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rapidcelnews.com\/entertainment\/tearful-ariana-grande-emotional-over-past-having-lip-fillers-and-botox\/","title":{"rendered":"Tearful Ariana Grande emotional over past having lip fillers and Botox"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/SEC_171295257-cbf2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Ariana Grande became emotional while opening up about having cosmetic procedures in the past, with her eyes tearing up as she stressed how \u2018beautiful\u2019 the process of ageing can be.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, the 30-year-old has gained a worldwide legion of fans thanks to her chart-topping music, with many of her Arianators taking inspiration from her signature beauty looks, from her winged eyeliner to her tight, high ponytail.<\/p>\n<p>However, in a new video, the Wicked star shared that in the past, her investment in beauty was sometimes a way of her hiding, as opposed to expressing her inner self, as it is now.<\/p>\n<p>Ariana was taking her fans through an 11-minute journey of how she does her own make-up when she brought up the subject of previously having Botox and lip fillers several years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Full transparency as a beauty person, as I do my lips, I had a ton of lip filler over the years and Botox. I stopped in 2018 \u2018cause I just felt so\u2026 too much. I just felt like hiding, you know?\u2019 she said in the video for Vogue.<\/p>\n<p>At this point in the YouTube clip, the musician paused, a smile dawning on her face as her eyes filled with tears.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><\/p>\n<p>\u2018Didn\u2019t expect to get emotional,\u2019 she said, as she chuckled nervously.<\/p>\n<p>The double Grammy Award winner then pretended that her arms were a clapperboard, jokingly quipping: \u2018Take 300.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>She continued: \u2018For a long time beauty was about hiding for me. And now I feel like maybe it\u2019s not since I stopped getting fillers and Botox \u2013 and maybe I\u2019ll start again someday, I don\u2019t know. To each their own, whatever makes you feel beautiful, I do support.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018But I know for me, it was just like, oh! I want to see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines, I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper, and I laugh more and more, and I just think ageing is just such a\u2026 it can be such a beautiful thing.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Ariana added that there could be a possibility that she might have more cosmetic procedures in the future, stating: \u2018Now might I get a facelift in 10 years? I might, yeah!\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The Thank U, Next singer outlined how she feels that especially in an environment where she\u2019s discussing \u2018beauty secrets\u2019 with her fans, that they should be able to \u2018lay it all out there\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ariana Grande&#039;s Skin Care Routine &amp; Guide to a \u201860s Cat Eye | Beauty Secrets | Vogue\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MdLcP8dJls4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Several fans commented on the YouTube video commending Ariana on how open and vulnerable she was, with one writing: \u2018I appreciate Ariana for being honest and transparent about the Botox and fillers she had over the years it\u2019s not easy admitting that to the whole world so props to her.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I\u2019m actually glad she talked about the fillers and Botox and how these things can be used to hide your insecurities, but also go way far beyond and how she moved past that, it\u2019s beautiful. Congrats Ari, hope you feel more and more comfortable in your skin.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Another fan said that watching the video made them \u2018cry\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The way Arianna was able to be so vulnerable and real with the camera just goes to show that everyone is human,\u2019 they added.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Even the people we look up to the most in life have their insecurities and have moments where they don\u2019t feel at their best.
