Russell Brand has informed fans that he "absolutely cannot" talk about the rape, sexual assault and abuse allegations made against him.<\/p>\n
The actor went ahead with his gig on Saturday night (September 16) in Wembley Park Theatre amid the allegations made by The Times.<\/p>\n
But Russell has denied all the allegations against him in a YouTube video on Friday evening (September 15) – slamming them as "aggressive attacks". <\/p>\n

He says there are "witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives" by The Sunday Times and Channel 4' Dispatches making a "co-ordinated attack". .<\/p>\n
Despite the sensational claims, he took to the stage on Saturday (September 16) to perform in front of thousands of people. <\/p>\n

The Sun reports how Russell was met with cheers and applause from fans as he walked on stage – with Rebel Rebel being playing before the show started. <\/p>\n
Russell allegedly told the crowd: "I really appreciate your support. I love you.<\/p>\n
"I want to do a fantastic show for you. I've got a lot of things to talk to you about.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are obviously some things that I absolutely can not talk about – and I appreciate that you will understand.\u201d<\/p>\n
The publication also added how a man who looked like the comedian walked past the stage minutes after the show started. <\/p>\n
Russell noted how the man looked like him and was a body double, quipping: \u201cThat might come in handy.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Saturday afternoon (September 16) The Times published the claims – which come from four alleged victims.<\/p>\n
The publication has also claimed that there were reported incidents during the early years of his TV career.<\/p>\n

Channel 4 runners and TV researchers alleged that Russell would get staff to find female audience members – this was so he could allegedly meet them after filming.<\/p>\n
A separate claim was also made by two former crew members, who worked on Big Brother\u2019s EFourum, a live spin-off debate show.<\/p>\n
The programme was presented by Russell and it would eventually become Big Brother\u2019s Big Mouth.<\/p>\n
They claimed how Russell made them feel like they were working as a \u201cpimp\u201d for him.<\/p>\n
A show runner also alleged Russell told her he \u201chad it written into his contract that he wasn\u2019t allowed to have any sexual contact with anyone working on Big Brother\u201d.<\/p>\n
According to The Times, Endemol said they have reviewed the contract – and found that Russell did not have a clause pertaining to sexual relationships.<\/p>\n
