including the dangerous mistakes everyone makes with their dogs.<\/p>\n<p>Tess recently shared that her &#8216;absolute favourite&#8217; dog breed is the Bernese Mountain Dog.<\/p>\n<p>The breed is famously known for its calm temperament and gentle giant nature.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/21\/07\/67493595-12542797-Vet_nurse_Tess_Nolan_pictured_from_Queensland_has_listed_the_fiv-a-21_1695276158100.jpg\" height=\"636\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Senior nurse and practice manager Tess Nolan spends her days diagnosing and treating dogs and cats on the Gold Coast, conducting everything from pet CPR to X-rays and blood tests\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bernese Mountain Dogs are ideal for colder temperatures as they were originally bred as working dogs in their native Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>The breed is strong and athletic, and many use the dogs on farms to herd cattle or pull heavy loads through remote areas.<\/p>\n<p>Bernese Mountain Dogs have a short lifespan, and typically live for six-to-eight years on average.<\/p>\n<p>An animal expert also revealed that the breed is a type of &#8216;velcro&#8217; dog.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Bernese Mountain Dogs love being close to their owners and can struggle with separation anxiety if left alone for too long,&#8217; he said in a video.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They&#8217;re the perfect family dogs, my two-year-old Bernese is great with my infant daughter,&#8217;
