How single student, 18, left her shoe at future king Christian&#8217;s birthday bash to have &#8216;real life Cinderella moment&#8217; &#8211; and get the attention of Europe&#8217;s most eligible bachelor<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Danish Royal Household revealed on Instagram someone had left their shoe\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0Count Nikolai of Denmark shares photo of himself surfing in Australia after skipping Prince Christian\u2019s 18th birthday bash amid title row<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He&#8217;s one of Europe&#8217;s most\u00a0eligible bachelors, and so it&#8217;s no wonder that one Danish student seemingly tried her hardest to catch the attention of Prince Christian of Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>The future King celebrated his 18th birthday with a glitzy gala dinner at the\u00a0Christiansborg Palace last weekend &#8211; and guests included dazzling future Queens from across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>But one glamorous party-goer didn&#8217;t let that stop her from trying to get the prince&#8217;s attention and, in a real-life Cinderella moment,\u00a0Anne-Sofie Tornso Olesen, 18, left her golden stiletto heel for the royal to find.<\/p>\n<p>As staff cleared up after the lavish celebrations, they discovered the shoe &#8211; but rather than go from house to house seeking its owner, the prince instead asked the Palace to post a photograph of the heel on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Actress Anne-Sofie, who appeared in Danish TV series BaseBoys, has since come forward to claim the shoe as her own, telling Danish outlet Se Og H\u00f8r: &#8216;It was meant to be a fairytale ending \u00e0 la Cinderella.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/20\/09\/76790375-12652687-image-m-9_1697789425090.jpg\" height=\"576\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Anne-Sofie Tornso Olesen sported a sheer black dress at the reception and even greeted Denmark\u2019s Queen Margrethe II, her son, Crown Prince Frederik and his son Prince Christian, who were all oblivious to her &#8216;funny&#8217; plan to steal the show<\/p>\n<p>In a bid to return the shoe to its rightful owner, the Danish Royal Household revealed &#8216;Cinderella&#8217; had somehow left the shoe at Christiansborg Palace.<\/p>\n<p>The caption read: &#8216;When the guests at Her Majesty The Queen&#8217;s gala table yesterday had gone home, this lonely stiletto shoe was left at Christiansborg Castle.\u00a0The owner is welcome to contact to get it back.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Anne-Sofie was invited to the party to represent the area where she lives outside the Danish capital. \u2018I won the invitation in a tombola,\u2019 she told the Daily Mail&#8217;s\u00a0Richard Eden.<\/p>\n<p><span>It remains to be seen whether Denmark&#8217;s second in line to the throne will return the shoe in person to Anne-Sofie, whose father is a wine merchant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>She sported a sheer black dress at the\u00a0reception and even greeted\u00a0Denmark\u2019s Queen Margrethe II, her son, Crown Prince Frederik and his son Prince Christian, who were all oblivious to her &#8216;funny&#8217; plan to steal the show.<\/p>\n<p>The single 18-year-old said: &#8216;I thought it was a bit funny myself, and I talked to my family and friends about it before, and they agreed that I should do it.
