S Club\u00a0fans were left furious after they were forced to evacuate the hotly-anticipated rescheduled gig at\u00a0Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on Monday.<\/p>\n
A fire alarm siren was triggered again leaving the arena in complete darkness at 9pm, while the band were performing their song Alive.<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, the group were forced to cancel their scheduled gig\u00a0because of another suspected fire at the venue hours before the concert was due to kick off.<\/p>\n
The band –\u00a0Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara, and Rachel Stevens\u00a0left fans devastated when their concert got cut short.<\/p>\n
Fans rushed to Twitter, formerly known as X, to take out their frustration.<\/p>\n

Not the first time:\u00a0S Club fans were left furious after they were forced to evacuate the hotly-anticipated rescheduled gig at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on Monday<\/p>\n
Some wrote: ‘S Club party was THE party tonight in Liverpool! VIP b****** (will try to forget about the fire alarm that went off towards the end)<\/p>\n
‘This is CRAZY! Glad everyone is okay and the show was able to finish.’<\/p>\n
‘This is so scary! My wife and I are in shock about what happened tonight. But according to the arena, they did a \u201cquick\u201d \u201cpartial\u201d evacuation! Hope you\u2019re okay!’<\/p>\n
‘Fire alarm went off at the gig in Liverpool tonight… all those lights are peoples phones because the emergency lighting still wasn’t on, even after the sirens stopped.<\/p>\n
‘You had to postpone the gig on the 13th due to fire. Then tonight at the rescheduled date there was an actual fire alarm. Plunged into darkness and staff had no clue!!!’<\/p>\n
In a statement on X, the M&S Bank Arena said: ‘Tonight, as S Club were close to finishing their set at the arena, there was a minor incident which triggered a partial evacuation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘The issue was resolved quickly and we were able to restart the show. We will be launching a full investigation. The safety of the audience, staff and performers is always our primary concern.’<\/p>\n

The group were seen in their colourful stage costumes as the delighted fans by singing a string of their hits.<\/p>\n
Performing the likes of\u00a0S Club Party,\u00a0Don’t Stop Movin’,\u00a0Reach,\u00a0Never Had a Dream Come True and\u00a0You’re My Number One, the band had the crowd on their feet for an evening of nostalgia.<\/p>\n
It comes after,\u00a0Jon revealed why the show at the M&S Bank Arena was axed with just two hours notice, as the pop group arrived in Sheffield.<\/p>\n
Taking to his Instagram Stories late on Friday night, the singer explained: ‘There was a fire in the building which knocked out some of the electrics, which meant it was completely unsafe for us to allow an audience into the arena<\/p>\n
‘It was not our decision. We were fighting to perform to you guys right down the last minute. But unfortunately it’s health and safety and your safety is paramount to us. We just weren’t allowed to perform tonight.’<\/p>\n
‘The singer explained that the Liverpool date had been rescheduled but added:\u00a0‘We know that some of you have travelled from all over the world to see and we are absolutely heartbroken.<\/p>\n
‘We really, really are. It’s devastating for us. Please accept my sincere apologies. We really hope we can see you all soon. We love you all so much, and once again, absolutely gutted.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 90s pop band were just one show into their highly-anticipated Good Times reunion tour after performing at the AO Arena in Manchester, on Thursday night.<\/p>\n
Bradley, Rachel, Jo, Tina\u00a0 and Jon were expected to perform again in Merseyside on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
