Just like any good friend, Selena Gomez<\/strong> is being cautious about her bestie’s new relationship!<\/p>\n

A source close to the Lose You To Love Me<\/em> songstress dished to PageSix<\/em> on Monday how she’s a little concerned about Taylor Swift<\/strong> and Travis Kelce<\/strong>‘s booming romance. With Tay Tay’s history of being super private, this is a new side of her none of us are used to seeing, including her best friend:<\/p>\n

“Selena thinks Taylor going to games\u00a0and\u00a0galavanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her. Historically, Taylor\u2019s always been super private about everything, and now with this , she\u2019s so open about it that it\u2019s just very odd for Selena.\u201d<\/p>\n

We mean, Selly has a point! In the full six years the Anti Hero<\/em> singer was linked to Joe Alwyn<\/strong>, we only got to see bits and pieces of their romance. New doesn’t always necessarily mean a bad thing, but it makes sense if the 31-year-old is a bit worried. In fact, the insider said she believes the 33-year-old’s behavior with the Kansas City Chiefs<\/strong> tight end is “alarming” — especially since she was so quick to meet Donna Kelce<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

That’s not all, though. The Look At Her Now<\/em> singer also thinks it’s weird Taylor and Travis have been so chill with being spotted by the paparazzi — much unlike herself, who allegedly turned down a few of her bestie’s invites to a Chiefs game to avoid a “media frenzy”:<\/p>\n

“Selena just doesn\u2019t want to be part of the media frenzy because it\u2019s really chaotic … It didn\u2019t come from a malicious place, and it\u2019s not that she doesn\u2019t like them together. She\u2019s just concerned about the way it\u2019s being navigated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, apparently Taylor’s other besties — the Haim<\/strong> sisters — “think this way as well.” This is apparently why her closest friends have been absent on all her girls’ night out parties! Oof!<\/p>\n

We have to agree, this is\u00a0definitely\u00a0<\/em>not what we’re used to seeing from T-Swizzle. And with these kinds of reviews from her closest friends — well, who’s to say? But ya know what, we still ship Traylor all day long! Whatever makes Taylor happy!<\/p>\n
