Bobby Brazier made judges cry at his emotional dance tribute to mum, Jade Goody, on this evening's episode of Strictly Come Dancing.

The actor and model achieved two 10s (and plenty of tears) for his emotive performance to 'This Woman's Work' by Maxwell (originally by Kate Bush). The song was paired with a contemporary dance as part of Strictly's couple's choice selection, for a very personal story told through dance.

During the emotive video tape introducing the performance, the 20-year-old explained the reasoning behind the song choice. Bobby explained the track as "the perfect song" for him to express his feelings in a tribute to mum, Jade.

Bobby was just 4 years old when Jade died of cancer, after a lengthy and public battle will the illness. He explained: "The story we're going to tell, simply put – [is of] my mum and I… My intention isn't to give anyway any kind of answer, it's just to tell a story and make people feel empowered, but empowered in sadness."

Reflecting on his mother's passing, Bobby continued, "I'd love to spend the day with her, just to see where I get my smile from… 'If I could see her again for one moment, I'd tell her, "Thank you" and give her a cuddle."

The poignant video tape then went on to discuss the support of Bobby's family in the aftermath of his mother's death, including his father, Jeff Brazier, who was dealing with the loss of his former partner. TV presenter Jeff gushed, "He is a walking tribute to his mum. That's another reason we're really proud of him."

The contemporary dance saw Bobby, and Strictly partner, Dianne Buswell, using shadow work to depict an emotional story of love and loss. The story also hits close to home for Aussie native Dianne, who's father, Mark, has just started chemotherapy for his own cancer battle.

The heart-rending performance saw the pair receive two coveted number 10 scores, placing them second from the top with a total score of 37. During the judges' feedback, each and every judge was notably touched by the display.

Clutching a tissue, Shirley Ballas spoke through her tears: "Very charismatic, in your own world… you danced it from your heart." Shirley went on to give Bobby a 10.

Craig Revel Horwood was quick to criticise Bobby's style and use of torso, but praised his "stunning" storytelling. Craig scored Bobby an 8 for his performance.

But the negative feedback didn’t seem to phase the Essex-born lad, who gushed after his performance, "All I can think about how blessed I am. I'm so blessed to have beautiful friends and family… it's something I'll never forget."
