The Il Toro has been a popular weapon for PvP players in Arc Raiders. Its effectiveness in combat has made it a go-to choice for many players, contributing to its prominence in the game’s competitive landscape. However, the developers at Embark have recognized the need for adjustments to maintain balance and fairness in gameplay.

In the latest update, Patch 1.20.0, which is rolling out across all platforms, several significant changes have been implemented. Notably, the Pellet Damage of the Il Toro has been reduced from 7.5 to 7. This adjustment aims to mitigate the weapon’s overpowering presence in player-versus-player scenarios.

Additionally, the Base Fire-Rate of the Il Toro has been decreased from 43 to 38, and its Base Dispersion has increased from 4.5 to 6. These changes are designed to enhance the weapon’s balance, making it less dominant while still retaining its utility in combat.

Further modifications include an increase in the Total Reload Time of the Il Toro from 4.3s to 5.7s, along with adjustments to the Looping Reload Entry and Looping Reload Time. The Looping Reload Entry now stands at 1s, up from 0.8s, and the Looping Reload Time has been increased from 0.5s to 0.7s. These changes are expected to affect the weapon’s overall performance in fast-paced encounters.

Another notable change in this update is the increase in Damage loss from Falloff for the Il Toro, which has risen from 40% to 50%. This adjustment aims to ensure that players are rewarded for precise shots, encouraging skillful play.

In addition to weapon adjustments, the update also addresses the pricing of Energy Clips. The sell price of Energy Clips has been reduced from 1000 to 200 coins. This change comes in response to feedback from the community, as Energy Clips had unintentionally become a very profitable craft. The developers stated, “Energy Clips have unintentionally become a very profitable craft, so we are reducing the sell price to make the value profitability in line with other crafts.”

Embark has expressed gratitude for player feedback, stating, “Thank you for your feedback and patience!” They also mentioned, “This is an adjustment many of you requested.” Moving forward, the team will continue to monitor the impact of these changes on gameplay. As they noted, “We will of course continue to keep a close eye on this to see how it plays out in practice, and make additional adjustments when needed.”

With these updates, players can expect a more balanced experience in Arc Raiders, fostering a competitive environment that rewards skill and strategy. As the community adapts to these changes, further adjustments may be anticipated to ensure ongoing balance in the game.
