During the event, players have four attempts each hour to guess the exact burrito order combination. The vault code resets every hour, providing a fresh batch of prizes. Notably, during the Double Protein Power Hour, the number of prizes is doubled, and all include double protein.
In 2025, the Burrito Vault generated record-breaking engagement, with more than 3.5 million plays, according to Chipotle’s Chief Marketing Officer, Stephanie Perdue. Players can win various rewards, including free burritos for a year, BOGO entrees, and double protein rewards. Each hour during regular gameplay, 3,600 BOGO entrees and 2,000 double protein rewards will be awarded. During the Double Protein Power Hour, the numbers increase significantly, with 7,200 double-protein BOGO entrees and 4,000 double protein rewards available.
National Burrito Day falls on April 2, 2026, and Chipotle is celebrating by offering a $0 delivery fee on digital orders. Chipotle Rewards members earn 10 points for every $1 spent, making participation in the Burrito Vault even more rewarding.
