Parton is improving daily but is not yet ready for stage performances. She has been facing significant dizziness, which affects her ability to perform live. “I can’t be dizzy carrying around banjos, guitars and such on five inch heels,” she said.
The Las Vegas residency was initially set for late 2025 but was postponed to September 2026. However, Parton’s ongoing health struggles have led her to cancel the event entirely.
Despite these challenges, she remains dedicated to her work. Parton continues to develop her upcoming Broadway project, Dolly: A True Original Musical. She stated, “This is a speed bump not a goodbye.”
