The 28th Flying Pig Marathon is set for Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. It will attract around 45,000 participants from all 50 states and over 30 countries.
The event will include a variety of races. Opening ceremonies will begin at 6:30 a.m. on race day. Wheelchair and handcrank racers will start at 6:25 a.m., followed by the four-person relay race at the same time.
Participants include 64 Streakers who have run every Flying Pig Marathon since its inception. The finish line will be located on West Mehring Way. Numerous road closures will occur throughout the weekend.

- Saturday’s highs will be in the mid-50s.
- Sunday’s temperatures will reach around 60 degrees.
Sean Ryan won the male division of the previous year’s marathon with a time of 2:22:41. Tori Parkinson took the female title with a time of 2:40:06. Jonathan Harley won the half marathon in a time of 1:12:30.
Cincinnati officials encourage spectators to cheer on runners along the race route. However, they warn that traffic is often heavy on race day and that busy roads will be closed on Sunday morning.
The Flying Pig Marathon has been held annually since its inception, making this event a significant occasion for both local and international participants.
