Goldie Hawn, at 80, is open to acting again but only if she finds a script that excites her. Her last major role was in 2020’s The Christmas Chronicles 2. Hawn has not appeared in any major project since then.

Hawn’s Hollywood career spans nearly 60 years. She gained fame on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In in the 1960s. She won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1969 film Cactus Flower.

Recently, Hawn expressed interest in returning to acting. She stated, “I would love to get a material that could actually be like, ‘Oh my God, I want this so bad.'” She emphasized the importance of content, saying, “It’s about the content.”

She has been focusing on family and mental health initiatives through her program MindUP. Hawn founded MindUP over two decades ago. In addition, she plans to release her first children’s book on May 5.

Hawn has four adult children and eight grandchildren. Her daughter Kate Hudson has considered writing a project for them. Hawn and her partner Kurt Russell have spent much of their time at home in Colorado.

Hawn remarked that doing the same thing repeatedly is not interesting to her. She remains open to new opportunities but seeks engaging material first.
