This marks the first time since 1996 that Philadelphia will host the All-Star Game. The week’s events include the All-Star Futures Game, the MLB Draft, and the Home Run Derby.

All-Star Game Details and Broadcast Information

The All-Star Game is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, at 8 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast live on FOX and Fox Deportes, with streaming options available through the FOX Sports app. Other events include the All-Star Red Carpet Show on Tuesday, July 14, at 2 p.m. ET on MLB Network and MLB.com.

Streaming services like DirecTV, Hulu, MLB+, MLB.TV, and YouTube TV also offer access to various All-Star Week events. For instance, DirecTV’s Entertainment package provides access to NBX and Fox, while Hulu’s live TV package includes Fox, MLB Network, and NBC. American League Starting Lineup

The American League starting lineup features several prominent players. Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels is making his 12th All-Star Game appearance. He has a .237 batting average, 18 home runs, and 38 RBI’s in 78 games this season. Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros is participating in his fourth All-Star Game, with a .318 batting average, 31 home runs, and 70 RBI’s.

First-time All-Stars for the American League include Shea Langeliers of the Athletics, Ernie Clement of the Toronto Blue Jays, and Ben Rice of the New York Yankees. Langeliers has a .257 batting average, 21 home runs, and 46 RBI’s in 86 games. Clement, known for his consistency, has a .298 batting average, eight home runs, and 32 RBI’s. Other starters include Junior Caminero of the Tampa Bay Rays, making his second consecutive start, and Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals, in his third consecutive All-Star Game. Cody Bellinger is returning to the All-Star Game for the first time since 2019. Riley Greene of the Detroit Tigers is making his third consecutive appearance.

National League Starting Lineup

The National League lineup is led by Kyle Schwarber of the Phillies, who will lead off in his fourth All-Star Game. He has a .254 batting average, an MLB-best 32 home runs, and 59 RBI’s. Juan Soto of the New York Mets is making his fifth All-Star Game appearance, batting .290 with 21 home runs and 51 RBI’s.

Freddie Freeman of the Los Angeles Dodgers has earned double-digit All-Star selections, making his fifth consecutive appearance with a .290 batting average, 15 home runs, and 49 RBI’s. CJ Abrams of the Washington Nationals is set for his second All-Star Game, batting .275 with 20 home runs and 67 RBI’s. Max Muncy of the Dodgers is making his third All-Star Game appearance, with a .259 batting average, 17 home runs, and 40 RBI’s.

Ozzie Albies of the Atlanta Braves is returning to the All-Star Game after a three-year absence, batting .267 with 14 home runs and 51 RBI’s. Brandon Marsh of the Phillies is making his first All-Star Game appearance, securing a home-field nod with a .300-plus average, 15 home runs, and 46 RBI’s. Andy Pages and Drake Baldwin, both from the Dodgers and Braves respectively, are also first-time All-Stars. Pages has a .270 batting average, 17 home runs, and 66 RBI’s, while Baldwin has a .254 batting average, 15 home runs, and 46 RBI’s. Cristopher Sánchez of the Phillies will be the National League’s starting pitcher, having posted a 2.62 ERA over 127.1 innings.

The Phillies have five representatives on the National League roster, including Marsh, who earned his first career starting nod in the outfield. Injuries to players like Aaron Judge and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. have opened opportunities for 26 players to make their first All-Star appearance this year.

The American League will aim to recover from last year’s loss, which featured the first home run swing-off in All-Star Game history after a 6-6 tie. Schwarber secured the National League victory in that game, earning All-Star Game MVP honors.
