MSC Cruises is set to launch MSC World Asia in December 2026. The ship will feature a massive outdoor theme park at sea, including Europe’s first over-water swing.

The floating amusement park will offer attractions such as the Cliffhanger, which is billed as the first of its kind in Europe. Other attractions include The Harbour, featuring a ropes course, waterslides, and the longest dry slide at sea. The Family Aventura District will combine outdoor attractions with indoor entertainment spaces.

MSC Cruises operates 23 ships that sail to more than 300 destinations across five continents. The new ship will offer seven-night Mediterranean itineraries with stops in Barcelona, Naples, and Rome. Steve Leatham from MSC stated, “As a family-owned company, MSC Cruises knows what it takes to keep the whole family happy on holiday.”

The expansion reflects a broader trend toward immersive, all-ages experiences in the cruise industry. Observers expect this move to enhance family entertainment options at sea.
