Post positions will be drawn on May 11, 2026. This year’s Preakness was moved because Pimlico is closed for construction as part of a major redevelopment project.

The field for the 2026 Preakness Stakes has yet to be confirmed. Officials have not disclosed whether Golden Tempo will participate in the race.
