Tracy Tutor Files Lawsuit Against Oren Alexander
Tracy Tutor, a prominent real estate agent known for her role on the reality show Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles, has filed a lawsuit against Oren Alexander, accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2014. The lawsuit was initiated in New York City, where the alleged incident took place following a dinner with real estate professionals.
According to the lawsuit, Tutor claims she lost consciousness after consuming a cocktail handed to her during the dinner. Her friend reportedly found her in a men’s restroom stall with Alexander, who was allegedly kissing her and touching her inappropriately. Tutor later woke up in a hotel room that was not her own and noticed that a tampon had been removed, raising further concerns about the incident.
Oren Alexander, who is 38 years old, has denied the allegations made by Tutor. His legal representative, Jason Goldman, stated, “Ms. Tutor and her counsel have timed the filing of this salacious and demonstrably false lawsuit for maximum media impact.” This statement reflects the contentious nature of the claims and the surrounding circumstances.
The lawsuit comes in the wake of a federal criminal case in which Oren Alexander and his brothers were convicted of sex trafficking. The jury found the Alexander brothers guilty on ten counts related to a conspiracy involving rape and sexual exploitation. They now face potential sentences of up to life in prison, with sentencing scheduled for August. This broader context of criminal activity has led to more than 60 women accusing the Alexander brothers of being drugged and assaulted.
During the trial related to the criminal case, 11 women testified against the Alexander brothers, highlighting a pattern of behavior that has raised significant alarm within the real estate community. The Alexander brothers were previously known as real estate’s “A Team” for their high-ticket sales and celebrity clientele, but these allegations have severely tarnished their reputations.
Tracy Tutor, now 50 years old, joined Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles in 2017 and left Douglas Elliman in 2024 to join Compass. Her involvement in this lawsuit marks a significant moment in her career, as she seeks to hold Alexander accountable for the alleged actions that have deeply affected her life.
The allegations against the Alexander brothers have sparked discussions about the prevalence of sexual misconduct in various industries, including real estate. Jay Clayton, a legal expert, commented, “The truth is sex trafficking and other federal sex offenses are present in many walks of life and we have not done enough to root it out.” This sentiment resonates with many victims who have come forward, including one unnamed victim who stated, “I don’t want their money. I just don’t want them to have it.”
