BBC Strictlys Bobby wishes to take a bit of Dianne as competition ends

Shirley Ballas branding Bobby Brazier ‘the king of ballroom’

Strictly Come Dancing’s Bobby Brazier has opened up on whether he feels as if the competition has changed him and gave his partner Dianne Buswell glowing praise. The couple have had a rollercoaster of a ride in the competition and have both been very supportive of one another throughout.

Bobby and Dianne have faced the dreaded dance-off a few times but with the judges believing in them, they have made it to the BBC dance competition final. The couple has spent the last three months with one another every day and become good friends in the process.

The EastEnders star recently spoke about their relationship and how the competition has changed him. He told Express.co.uk and other press: “I feel like hopefully I have taken a little bit of Dianne.

“The resilience and the determination and the visionary and creativeness and dancery-ness. It is more than being able to move so well.”

Laughing at his kind words, Dianne added: “I am definitely taking a little bit of Zen from Bobby.”

When asked about how he feels to have made the final, he added: “I feel lucky because the quality is a joke and being in the dance-off, I was watching Annabel [Croft].

“And I thought it was flawless, so I feel lucky. And this is what I wanted, I wanted to experience all of Strictly.

“To know that I am not going to miss out on a dance and that I get to do as many dances as I possibly could of with Dianne.”

The professional dancer, who has been on the show for seven years and had only made the final once, added: “I also feel really lucky.

“I feel honoured to be part of this final three who are all incredible and I also feel really proud. I feel so proud of how far Bobby has come and to make it into the final with such incredible dances is an incredible feeling.”

This weekend, each couple will perform three times in order to impress and use their dances as the last push to win the Glitterball Trophy.

For Bobby and Dianne, the judges chose their Samba to Young Hearts Run Free by Candi Staton for them to perform again.

The pair decided they were going to do their Couple’s Choice to This Woman’s Work by Maxwell as their favourite dance of the series alongside their show dance will be to a La La Land Medley.

Strictly Come Dancing final airs Saturday, December 16 from 7pm on BBC One.
