Richard Madeley announces he has a new grandchild
Richard Madeley issued a sweet tribute on Good Morning Britain today following the arrival of his fifth grandchild.
The ITV presenter, 67, shared the happy news that his son Jack Madeley, 37, welcomed a baby daughter with his wife Issy Wilson five days ago.
The adorable baby girl is the couple’s second child, and doting grandfather Richard couldn’t be more excited.
He shared his joy with co-host Susanna Reid, 52, after she asked: “You’ve been adding to your family, haven’t you Richard?”
He then confirmed: “Well I have to say, yes. Little Wren is my fifth grandchild. She’s only about five days old.”

The screen then showed a picture of Richard holding baby Wren, who was wearing a light pink babygrow.
Richard looked relaxed in a white T-shirt, blue jeans and some shades as he beamed at the camera.
“That’s little Wren, she’s a sweetie,” he told Susanna, as viewers were able to catch a close-up picture of the adorable little girl.

Jack and Issy are also already parents to their four-year-old son Kit.
Richard shares children – his son Jack and daughter Chloe, 36 – with his wife Judy Finnigan, 75, whom he married in 1986.
Richard and Judy are already grandparents to Ivy and Eden, who are the daughters of one of Judy’s sons from her first marriage.
Judy shares 46-year-old twins Dan and Tom with her ex-husband David Henshaw, whom she wed in 1974 and divorced in 1986.
Judy and Richard are additionally grandparents to one-year-old Bodhi, who is the daughter of Chloe and her husband James Haskell.
Chloe and James married back in 2018 and have recently released a TV show about their family life.
The ITV series, entitled Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair, follows Chloe’s life as she juggles work, first-time motherhood, and her famous family.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
