JAMES Corden has landed a huge new job in America six months after leaving The Late Late Show.
The actor and talk show host's new gig is called This Life of Mine and will air on SiriusXM. It is the 45-year-old's first foray into the world of radio.
Dipping into James's enviable contact book, which was significantly bolstered during his eight years on telly in the States, the new show promises to feature in-depth conversations with the 'world’s biggest stars'.
Beginning next year, each weekly episode will be a deep-dive into all the life moments and memories that have shaped his celebrity guests.
Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer, said: “James Corden is an incredible talent who is always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
"With a career that spans acting on stage and screen, developing and launching hit series such as Carpool Karaoke, and of course his iconic eight-year run as a late night host, James has been a trailblazer in the entertainment business.

"We’re so honoured to welcome him to the SiriusXM family as he begins this next phase of his illustrious career and makes his mark in audio.”
James returned the compliments, saying: “I am thrilled to be joining SiriusXM. Scott and the whole team have made me feel so welcome as I start this new chapter. It’s a dream to have a space to engage in deep conversations with the people whose work and talent I greatly admire."
Earlier this year James explained he was quitting the show to ensure he could spend more time with wife Julia and their son Max, 11.
The star also said he wanted to "put some roots down in London", but his new career move appears to have delayed that.

Speaking to Drew Barrymore, James said: "Look it’s not easy in any way to walk away from something that is so, I mean, I’ll never work in a better environment than the one I work in now. Nothing about leaving the show was to do with not enjoying it. I love it.
"But the truth is it became a very easy decision because I always knew it was an adventure and I never, ever considered it to be the final destination."
He finished by concluding: "But I will know, at my core, that the best thing for me and the best thing for us as a family is to put down some roots in London, and it feels absolutely right in every single way."
The Brit star became an unlikely sensation in the States when he swapped sitcoms for superstars, winning multiple Emmy Awards for along the way.
Perhaps most famously, he created the Carpool Karaoke concept that saw him drive huge names like Adele and Justin Bieber around LA while singing their biggest hits.
The segments regularly went viral racking up millions of views online.
